This album replaces the 1970s-released "Gold and Platinum" as the definitive Lynyrd Skynyrd best of album. The two discs here are packed with nearly all of Skynyrd's best performances. Besides the obvious radio fare like "Free Bird" and "Sweet Home Alabama," there are great album tracks like "The Ballad of Curtis Lowe" and "Working For MCA." The album even features a couple of first rate rare cuts like "Was I Right or Wrong" and "All I Can Do is Write About It." Overall, this is one of the best rock anthology albums ever put together.
